Graduate success Dmitry Osipchuck

“Since finishing my graphics degree at the University of Wolverhampton, I have been very fortunate to find myself in the employment of Bluflame design. 
Working for Bluflame I have had the opportunity to learn how to work in a professional environment, artwork a variety of designs & products ranging from stationary to 100+ product catalogues. As well as design the company has helped me invest and develop my photography skills expanding my knowledge and equipment base. Although our clients are mainly trade and commercial business such as Ancol, Blackheath Products and Lichfield Council I enjoy the wide variety of work and the friendly working environment." says Dmitry

Design Intern
Flipside are looking for a talented and enthusiastic intern to join their team in the design studio for a minimum 3-month paid placement.

This role would ideally suit a student or recent design graduate who wants to gain invaluable experience in a fast-paced studio working on a wide variety of projects. The successful candidate will have a great print and digital portfolio, a can-do attitude, and will be proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite.

Library of Lost Books - latest membership cards

Some new images from the Library of Lost Books initiative have come through, in the form of the latest membership card designs by Graphics student Loren Russel-Ahern. Lorens designs highlight the different classifications of membership and feature portraits of the varied librarians and notable characters who have have inspired the 4 types of membership.
