Digital Artist opportunity

Freelance Digital Artist 

Inter-Action are looking for digital artists to produce work for display on their mobile multi-arts centre – The Fun Art Bus. The deadline for proposals is December 1st and proposed works must fit within the guidelines for ‘The Space’ detailed below.

The Fun Art Bus will tour housing estates and town centres within Greater London for the Olympic Year (2012/2013) and intends to visit major cities in the rest of the UK in the following year (2013/2014). The vehicle itself is a specially converted Routemaster which will be fitted out with video screens on the side, exhibition spaces inside and a proscenium arch theatre on the top deck. In the first year your work could be seen by up to 221,000 people on the bus itself, and many hundreds of thousands more via the external screens.

Proposals must take into consideration the criteria for The Arts Council and The BBC’s joint project, ‘The Space’, guidelines for which are available at http://www.artscouncil.org.uk/media/uploads/pdf/thespace_guidance_notes_final141111.pdf .The work will be unpaid unless Inter-Action are succesful in obtaining funding via this scheme.

Digital works for all devices will be considered.
