Strategy/Copywriting Intern (paid, part-time) - ORB, Birmingham

ORB is growing and we’ve got loads of great new business coming our way. We’ve just won The Birmingham Post Communications Award, we’ve been RAR rated, and we’re doing some really great work and making clients very happy indeed.

We’re looking for a bright intern looking to gain experience in branding, advertising, comms, and marketing. This will be a paid internship, working on real brands and live projects, in different industries. It’s a part time role (2 or 3 days per week), over 6 months, where the chosen candidate will be able to come in, do a lot of research for different brands, help to put presentations together, find out and share new interesting stuff in the world of branding and advertising, and generally help with work, thinking, ideas and copywriting.

We have a strategy department of 3 friendly geniuses, interested in strategy and copy for brands and advertising. We’re busy helping brands stand out and be better at what they do. We read the brief they give us, research what they do and what their competitors do, articulate what makes them relevant, create strategy, propositions, taglines, and write great copy to bring the brand to life and have fun in the process.

This is a really great opportunity for a final year university student or recent graduate who is smart and ready to help a busy but really creative and fun agency, to do even better. Working days are flexible to your requirements and will be discussed during the interview process.

Ultimately, the role will provide fantastically good experience, be a lot of fun, and could even lead to a job with us here.

If you are interested, email us your CV and a very short covering letter about yourself, with why you’d be good for the internship, and any relevant info, and we’ll meet anyone who might be suitable for the role.

Email hello@thisisorb.com

Applications close 28th February. Successful applicants will be contacted to arrange an interview.
