Marketing Assistant with a web focus 
Moreton Hall, one of the UKs leading independent schools, is seeking a university graduate with marketing experience for a newly created role of Marketing Assistant with a web focus, reporting to the Marketing Director.

This is an excellent opportunity to work as part of the schools small Marketing/Foundation department with the Marketing Director, the Foundation Director, a Marketing Intern and the International Recruitment Team. As Marketing Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the Directors in all areas of marketing activity. The main objectives of Marketing are to drive and maintain recruitment numbers. The main objectives of the Foundation are to raise funds for scholarships, bursaries and capital projects.

You will be working on the website (currently Joomla but soon migrating to a new platform) and its future development, search engine optimisation, e-mail marketing, web design, developing social networking but also all other facets of marketing including magazine production, event attendance and co-ordination, advertising, PR, fundraising.

Main tasks will include:
• Assist in the development of all marketing and e-marketing strategies to develop links with potential students, current students, former students and their families, plus with all feeder schools.
• Analysing e-communication programmes such as e-newsletter and future development of apps, and recommending and implementing future initiatives
• Day-to-day management of website content (including collating, writing, editing, distributing news)
• Regular reviews of information on the site
• Management and development of all social networking activity including Facebook, blogging, wikipedia, Twitter, Linkedin, YouTube etc
• Assist in coordination and marketing of events
• Designing and producing web & print graphics
• Performing other duties as requested by the Marketing and Foundation Directors such as attendance and assisting at events and Open Days, general administration and support

The Person:
• A minimum of two years general marketing experience, with at least one year in a web-based role
• Excellent IT skills to perform the above tasks, ideally including Photoshop
• Able to work alone and as part of a team
• Confident and capable in dealing with people both face to face and over the telephone
• Excellent organisational and time management skillswith good attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A natural flair for creativity
