This role is all about raising our profile and creating a buzz about what we do through social networking sites. You will be identifying new trends, creating and launching campaigns and actively engaging social networkers to drive traffic to our sites and raise our brand awareness.
Part of you role will involve working in partnership with departments such as Marketing, PR and Web Development to ensure that our content is always vibrant, exciting and current. You will also identify trends and create and implement ways for PDSA to capitalise on them and create and provide statistiacal reports and evidence of the effectiveness of social networking.
With an in-depth knowledge and clear grasp of social media platforms and how to optimise their value, you will also need outstanding communication skills on all levels and the ability to project manage and self motivate yet work effectively as part of a team. A marketing qualification, or working towards this would be an advantage, along with experience of direct marketing programmes within a fundraising environment would be nice but not essential.
