LOLB update and talk to second year students
Many thanks to Susan Kruse of the Library of Lost books for giving second year visual Communication students a fascinating talk this week. Susan focussed on may important themes - the value of working collaboratively, the importance of motivation, money matters and fundraising as well as enhancing communication skills. After giving students the opportunity to examine a selection of works first hand (including the books of Oliver Flude and Ian Pyper) Susan shared some unaltered manuscripts and books from the Library of Lost Books collection for second year students to reinterpret and reinvigorate.
