The
University is seeking to support 4 of our own recent graduates on an internship
programme designed to bring the benefits of our graduates experiences to our
new students in September.
In 4 of
the University’s Academic Schools we will be offering an internship to a
graduate from that school (Graduating Class of 2011):
Based
at the City Campus:
* University of Wolverhampton
Business School
* School of Art & Design
Based
at the Walsall Campus:
* School of Education
* School of Sport Performing Arts
& Leisure
Internships
are an opportunity for a recent graduate to integrate their recent University
experiences with practical, supervised work experience.
Interns
will receive an internship allowance – equivalent to £13,203 p/a.
(Pro-rata
this is approximately £250.00 per week before any deductions)
The
Internship Programme will operate for an eight month period from 1st
August 2011 to the end of March 2012.

recent graduates should submit a CV and a covering statement to
The
covering statement should be a short piece of approx 500 words setting out why
you would be suitable for this internship opportunity, what skills and
qualities you would bring to the programme and one piece of advice that you
would give to a new student starting in September based on your experience at
the University.
Applications
will only be accepted from graduates who have completed their studies in this
academic year and are from one of the four Academic Schools identified.
Applications
should be submitted by 30th June for shortlisting.
Successful
candidates for interview will be notified by the following week with
interviews, as required, to take place in the week commencing Monday 18th
July (to be confirmed). Ready for you to start on Monday 1st
August.
