The Design Portfolio is currently looking for a talented junior graphic designer to join our expanding team of creatives based in London’s Docklands/Canary Wharf. We are looking for enthusiastic, strategic designers with a strong background in layout and typography to create hard-working print and online corporate communications solutions for our diverse client base. We are one of the UK’s leading integrated corporate communications consultancies, working with over 120 companies on all aspects of corporate and investor communications, including financial and corporate responsibility reporting, investor relations design, website design, and branding.
About you
You will be able to create intelligent and eye-catching design solutions based on solid strategic thinking. An ability to analyse and critique existing work for its effectiveness will be your starting point. You will have a thorough technical understanding of Adobe CS, particularly InDesign, and thrive in a fast-paced, busy studio environment. You will be an excellent communicator, and enjoy talking about your work and its objectives in a professional manner. Your portfolio must demonstrate a mature design approach, with examples of print projects with a high level of detail and strong typographic sensibility. Applicants with experience of information design are particularly welcome.
An eye for detail, consistency and accuracy in both your visual and written communications is vital.
