We’re looking for a kick-ass web designer who likes challenges.
£20-30K p/a based on experience.

We have a reputation for building and maintaining great looking, well-constructed websites, applications and design work for businesses including fast-moving startups and long-established firms.

We’re only small, but work with loads of different clients, and whoever fills these shiny new boots needs to be able to design and build great looking, engaging website experiences with a very high attention to detail.

As an ideal candidate, you will have have a great portfolio of web design work. Previous commercial experience is preferred, but is not essential as long as your work is stellar and you can demonstrate nous. Our HTML/CSS is standards based, so you need to write good sensible markup, understand responsive design and modern web technologies, and have a thorough understanding of the possibilities of HTML5. You definitely work on creative things in your spare time.

On a day to day basis, you will need to plan, design and implement high quality user experiences for desktop and mobile, as well as refine or enhance existing ones.

You will need to liaise with clients to meet their design expectations and achieve their business-led goals. If you have any experience with version control, PHP or WordPress, that’s a really big bonus.

We value discussion and knowledge. We expect you will learn stuff here, and we’d like to learn stuff from you.

You would be working in our beautiful, light and spacious Grade II listed studio on St Paul’s square in Birmingham’s vibrant Jewellery Qtr.

The successful candidate will be furnished with a healthy budget to purchase new hardware, software and attend conferences.

Creating offline artwork to supplement client brands
