Meet Michael Salu - public lecture


Graphics graduate Michael Salu is Artistic Director for Granta Publishing. 

On March 14 Michael will be visiting the University as part of the 'Graduate to Great speaker programme', he will be here to share his story and to take questions. 

Michael will be using examples of his work to talk through the different stages of his career and will focus on the following the topics:

• The challenges of developing a creative career
• The difficulties, but ultimately more rewarding potential of versatility.
• Why everything should begin with good ideas.
• The importance of theoretical and literary awareness in re-imagining visual tropes and understanding.
• How to have fun and constantly evolve your work.

This public lecture is open to all, but places must be booked in advance - reserve your place here

The event takes place in MC001, Millennium City Building and begins at 3.30pm, going on till 6.00pm. Light refreshments are included
