Just have to share - An afternoon of printing and cream tea

The Baskerville Society in conjunction with The Typographic Hub present an afternoon of printing and cream tea at Winterbourne House and Garden Saturday 22 June, at 1pm

Restored to its Edwardian Arts and Craft splendour, Winterbourne House is a unique heritage attraction – set within seven acres of beautiful botanic gardens. Only minutes from Birmingham city centre, Winterbourne is a hidden gem – home to beautiful antiques and over 6,000 plant species from around the world. The visit will include a special demonstration of letterpress printing using equipment of the newly established Winterbourne Press. In addition, the garden is notable for its many hand carved letterforms and sculptures in wood and stone and guests will be taken on a guided tour of these lovely examples of horticultural art. Tea and coffee will be available for purchase in the delightful terrace tea room on the ground floor of the house, which serves tea, cakes and other refreshments throughout the day.
