We are looking for an experienced Media Officer on a temporary basis to cover a period of maternity leave. The purpose of this role is to assist the Corporate Communications Manager to deliver an effective public affairs and press awards and programme.
Key Accountabilities:
• Actively seek press stories and write effective press releases
• Draft copy for corporate/internal communications and help with their production
• Provide high-quality copy writing and proof reading
• Produce customer communications/marketing collateral
• Research business awards and assist with entry submissions
•Coordinate the administrative support to large, complex projects to enable the effective and efficient delivery of project objectives
•Perform other reasonable additional duties at the request of the line manager
You will have professional copy writing and proof reading experience along with media / public relations training. The ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload under pressure and a proven media management and issues management experience are essential.
