Life Drawing Workshops

There is a range of new life drawing workshops on offer at Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery.
The first is on the 8 October 11.00am - 4.00pm and is 'Costumed life drawing'. The model, Professional actor and costumer Peter Hurst will be dressed in 'Restoration' costume. The session will be lead by Janice Rider.

The second workshop is 5 November, again 11.00am - 4.00pm. The session will be led by Anne Brierley and participants will be working from a nude model, using dry or wet media with a mixture of traditional and more experimental approaches to drawing

The third workshop on 3 December, is a repeat of the second life drawing session.

All workshops are suitable for beginners and those with more experience and each will combine a number of short and longer poses throughout the day.


Basic materials will provided, including easels, A1 and A2 drawing boards, paper and basic drawing materials.
