Ed Ruscha visits Wolverhampton

Regular readers of this blog will no doubt remember the previous posts about Visual Communications students connection with Ed Ruscha and Wolverhampton Art Gallery. This association has continued today (21 October) with the visit of Ed Ruscha to The School of Art and Design and Wolverhampton Art Gallery. The visit organised to tie in with the Artist Rooms exhibition of Ed Ruscha’s work, included a talk about the various artworks on display.

The event hosted by Anthony d’Offay  was enjoyed by staff and students alike and was extremely well attended, providing a fascinating opportunity to learn more about the artworks, straight from Ed Ruscha himself.

A post summarising some of the high spots of the tour will be coming in the next few days.
