The second Visual Communications trip is to New York. As with the first, it is open to Students and Alumni.
With a skyline that’s recognizable worldwide and more than 8.3 million people from all corners of the globe who call it home, New York City is a one-of-a-kind destination.
No trip to New York City is complete without sampling its cultural offerings. Alongside such world-class museums as the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, fresh artistic perspectives are in bloom at hundreds of galleries in Chelsea, SoHo and the Lower East Side. Meanwhile, newcomers like the Museum of Arts and Design and the New Museum of Contemporary Art keep visitors and locals on the cutting edge of the art world. Discover new music at indie rock clubs; enjoy classical music, opera and ballet at Lincoln Center or Carnegie Hall. And, of course, don’t miss the chance to see the bright lights of Times Square and take in a Broadway show in the Theatre District.
