Typographic Research Initiative 4



July 13th saw The School of Art and Design hosting the Typographic Research Initiative

The Typographic Research Initiative [TRI] was founded in 2010 and is open to all those with an academic, professional or passing interest in typographic and typeface design and members include creative practitioners as well as academics, researchers, teachers and research students.

The TRI provides support to all those working and researching in the typographic field, offers a testing ground for new work, and acts as a central exchange at which ideas can be shared and discussed. Although based at Birmingham City University, the Group comprises academics, researchers and students from many other institutions and welcomes practitioners from across the United Kingdom.

The next meeting will take place on 16th November 2011 2–5.00pm

The TRI Showcases are free of charge and open to all to attend. This seminar will be hosted by the University of Derby: speakers to be announced. for more updates see:
